The United States of America may be turning 248 years old this year, but the home we facetiously call “The Shamptons” is turning 100! Yes, it was built in 1924 and has the quirks and foibles to prove it. Please come to our home and join us for 4th of July festivities! We will have the 100-foot slip 'n' slide, swimming in the lake, and a mini bounce house. We have towels and will make the shower available. If you have an inflatable lounger or other water toys, please feel free to bring them!
Our driveway gets pretty packed and we only recommended parking there for people planning on staying on the later side. There is additional parking on 76th Ave W. Sorry, the street in front of our house isn’t great for parking and we would advise against it.
We will have drinks, appetizers, burgers, hotdogs, and all the fixings. We always appreciate all the potluck contributions. If there is a dish you would like to share, please do bring it! Let’s party!
Please note there will be no lifeguard on duty so please keep a close watch on your kiddos and play on the dock or in the water at your own risk. We don’t think the dock is 100 years old, but sometimes it feels like it is.
